Videos documenting our process and the plants we work with

Projects that bring the seed library to life through pop-up seed exchanges, walks, seed burial, & other experiments:
.

   -LIBRARY INSTALLATIONS-

These site-specific installations offer seeds which have been gathered from nearby weedy and resilient plant species. Built mostly from salvaged materials, they range in scale and include zines, signs, photos, and seed packets for public checkout. They have been sited in art galleries, museums, a public library, and outdoors.

.
-DEEP TIME SEED BURIALS AND WORKSHOPS-

These burials hold weedy, disturbance-adapted seeds with long dormancy periods—time-travelers awaiting the right moment to germinate. Sited in places like gardens and former industrial lots, they ask: What futures await seeds that bide their time? Who will welcome them when they sprout?

.
-LAWN (RE)DISTURBANCE LABORATORY-

Lawn (Re)Disturbance Laboratory is an ongoing art-science experiment in re-wilding institutional and residential lawns through the emergence of seeds from the soil seedbank. From plant-guided sculptures and community workshops, the project considers lawn habitats and their impacts on the communities—human and nonhuman—who live in and among them.
