Library installation at William Paterson University, 2016

The Next Epoch Seed Library created a room-sized installation for the 2016 exhibition, Living Together: Nurturing Nature in the Built Environment, curated by Kristen Evangelista, for William Paterson University galleries.

The installation included a library structure made largely from found and upcycled materials, including:

• storage drawers for seed packets
• a seed sign-out sheet
• seeds displayed in drawers and jars
• a monitor playing video of our seed collecting, sorting, and packaging process
• shelves for reference books
• a reading area
• a bulletin board with community contributions and maps
• a seed propagation table
• a seed sorting and packaging table
• 3 seed microscopy photographs
